HELLO SWEET 16 | JOSEFINE VD HOEVEN
Hey paperlovers, So happy to see you on the blog of Pinkfresh! It's Josefine here sharing a new scrapbook layout with you using the gorgeous products designed by Pinkfresh. For my second layout, I used the following products, for the title I used the Adore alpha set the collection I used for this sweet 16 layout is Happy blooms. Here are some links to the happy bloom products, papers, cardstock stickers, dots. For the background and blending I used the following inks, Ink cube pack Over the Hills, Ink cube pack Heartbeat, Ink cube set Rise and shine, Ink pad Meadow
I started with the mixed media background. I mix a few colors from the Heartbeat set together and apply the ink with a moist cleaning sponge. I repeat this several times until my mixed media background is large enough. I also use some yellow ink that gives my layout a little Sunshine. Then I splash some more with the inks. I love the splatter effect. It gives my page a festive touch.
I was inspired by the monthly challenge. I created a heart shape on the mixed media background with 1 inch circles. I used a 1 inch round punch. Once all the half circle are in place I stitched them in place with pink sewing thread. Love how this turned out!
The cutfile I used and designed by Pinkfresh called Tropical flowers. I placed the cutfile on top of the mixed media background. Some parts of the cutfile I blend with various ink colors. I decorate my layout further. I put a frame over the black and white photo of my daughter and cut it out. I put the frame half over the cutfile. I fussy cut several flowers from the design paper and make a cluster around the photo. I also used some dots for in the center of the flowers.
For the title I used the puffy word "Hello" the ombre colored alphas I punched these out with the awesome Alpha Adore metal dies set. Totally adore this set! The ink color I used for the word "sweet" is Meadow. This one fits in very nicely with the color theme of the monthly challenge. I fussy cut some small butterflies from the design paper and placed them randomly on my layout and finally I make a few splatters with the white gesso. I am so happy with the result! I love working with Pinkfresh products. So many different possibilities to design with.
I hope I was able to give you some inspiration with the beautiful products I used. Also, I want to thank you for visiting the blog today and hope to see you here again next time. Wish you a lovely day friends!
XoXo, Jo
