Fussy cut leaves for a geometric composition by Cristina Sales
Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends, Cristina here with a new page made with the totally lovely Days of splendor collection. I wanted to create a geometric look on which to build the decoration using the beautiful leaves found everywhere in the patterned papers. I chose a perfect sheet with lovely moon everywhere that perfectly matched with my pic on which my little kitty was taking care of me before go to sleep. This is like a dream patterned paper.
I cut some strips of leftover paper from previous jobs and decorated it with the simple edgers die.
Then I cut out all the leaves from various papers both the 12 "and the 6" pad to have them in different sizes and have a contrast.
Each project I make must always have a round element and the cut file simple wreath was perfect. So I cut it with my cameo machine still using a leftover piece of paper that was perfect for the light brown color.
To get a very strong optical effect I chose to use thick double-sided tape everywhere to add all my leaves and I totally love how my composition turned out.
I cut out my leaves from the paper pad 6", fall in love, totally splendid.
I really loved those tiny dragonflies at all!!!
To make my title I used both the alphas by this collection, the mini alpha, the puffy stickers alpha and I totally love the contrast by the two used together.
