Winterberry Watercolor Card | Kristina Pokazanieva

Winterberry Watercolor Card | Kristina Pokazanieva

Hello friends! It’s Kristina here and today I’m sharing this festive watercolor card made using beautiful Winterberry background stamp.
I used December challenge color pallete for my inspiration.
I've started by blending a piece of watercolor paper using Sweet Mustard inks over the edges to make it look more vintage. Next, I stamped Winterberry background stamp using Antique Linen Distress inks onto my blended panel and did some no-line coloring with Pinkfresh studio liquid watercolors to color the images.
To achieve the colors that I wanted, I mixed my own colors on my palette. I used red, pink and blue colors for the berries, and green, blue and a bit of yellow for the leaves.
Once my coloring was done, I’ve added some shades using coloring pencils. I splattered my panel with silver paint and white gouache, before mounted it to the kraft card base with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from Our Home to Yours stamp set onto a stripe of muted green cardstock with clear embossing inks and white heat embossed, before adding it to the card with foam tape.
To finished my card I’ve added some gems.

Hope you liked my card! Have a great day!
