Spiral Circle | Cheryl Espie
Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends!
I am thrilled to be sharing a modern and dimensional design today using the newly released Spiral Circle Die. This is a really versatile die as it can be used to accent any project but, I wanted to make it a centre piece for my project.
I began by die cutting three Spiral Circles. I also cut out the centres from masking sheets. I placed the masking sheets on the centres of each Spiral Circle die cut and the proceeded to ink blend over the edges. The dye inks used: Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip and Fresh Pear.
To add some interest, I splattered some gold over the top and after they were dry, removed the centre masks.
Using dimensional foam dots, I layered them up. It looked so cool!
To make the backdrop a little more interesting I dry embossed the Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate on white cardstock, framing it with the Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangles.
After placing the Spiral Circles on the background, with more dimensional of course, it seemed to need a bold sentiment centre piece that would really pop!
To achieve this, I reversed foiled the brand new Wonderful Sentiments with Black Foil using the Solid Hot Foil Plate by Pinkfresh Studio.
Of course, I couldn't stop there as I do like my details. Therefore, I patiently added Gold Metallic Pearls to frame the sentiment and add an extra something to the Spiral Circle centre.
I cannot describe how cool it is to see the Spiral Circle all coloured and layered up, so you need to give it a try yourselves to really appreciate it.
Happy crafting friends...until next time
Cheryl
