Simplest Gestures and Best Wishes | Dilay Nacar
Hello and happy Monday, Pinkfresh Studio friends! Dee here, and I’m back today with a soft and delicate card showcasing the Simplest Gestures product suite! I used some of my all-time favorite dies and ink colors for this card, and I hope you love it as much as I do! Let’s get started!
I began by hot foiling the Simplest Gestures plate in gold onto smooth white cardstock, then used the coordinating ring stencils to color in the image, using Coral Reef and Regal Kiss for the blooms and Evergreen for the foliage. Once dry, I cut the image with the coordinating die. I then die cut the image twice more, in white, to stack and adhere behind the colored image. (Although you can skip this step if you’d like, I love adding dimension and use this technique often!)
These next few steps are super simple! I started by lining an A2-sized white card panel with the Floral Grid cover plate, covering only the bottom third of the panel, and ran it through my die cutter. Next, I aligned a small die from the Classic Tags set over the top and ran it through again. I repeated this step twice more to cover the entire width of the panel. Once finished, I adhered the panel onto an A2-sized, top-folding card base. I then die cut the Curvy Foliage die twice in gold glitter cardstock because what’s a floral card without some die-cut leaves?!
Next, it’s time to arrange all of our elements! I adhered the floral bunch onto the top of the card with foam squares, then tucked the gold glitter leaves underneath, trimming and snipping as needed to create a balanced bouquet. To finish, I added matte golds pearl embellishments to the center of the blooms and a sentiment from the Foiled Sentiments 1 ephemera pack!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and are inspired to create, too! I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and thank you so much for stopping by, friends!
