Rainbow Pop-Out Sunburst | Caly Person
Hi, Friends!
This is Caly with You today sharing a card made using the Pop-Out: Sunburst Die! This die can be used creatively in a lot of ways and coordinates with the Pop-Out: Sunburst cling (red rubber) stamp. I didn’t use the stamp today and decided against cutting the die 9 different times for the colors I wanted to use – so I chose to color the color blocks with Copic markers.
I die-cut the die 4 times to stack the outline together to give it more dimension. They using just one layer of the color blocks, I colored the pieces opposite of each other with the same Copic markers to repeat the pattern.
Copics:
Red: R22, R24, R29
Pink: R21, R22, R24
Orange: Y35, YR04, YR09
Yellow: Y11 Y15, Y35
Green: YG05, YG07, YG09
Teal: BG11, BG13, BG18
Light Blue: BG01, BG05, BG07
Blue: B23, B24, B26
Purple: B04, B06, V09
After coloring, I in-lay the pieces back in to create my rainbow sunburst. To give them some interest, I added shimmer to them using a shimmer pen. I added foam adhesive to the circle center and in-laid it back in so that it was the same height as the stacked frames.
My sentiment is from the Floral Vase set. I stamped the word “sending” and die-cut it using the coordinating Floral Vase die. For the second part of the sentiment, I embossed it in white over black cardstock. To embellish my card, I added a few white jewels!
I hope you enjoyed this project! Thanks so much for stopping by!

This may be my favorite rainbow card of all time!!! It made me smile as soon as I saw it and I haven’t quit smiling at it yet! Was surprised it was colored with Copics… Every choice you made was just another one on the way to perfect! Hope I can manage to find a way to get this die…and hopefully stamp too! Thank you for listing the colors your used. It is like going over and above what might be expected, and I for one, appreciate it very much!
