Happy Monday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a “Christmas in July” inspiration card made using Merry Days Die and Merry Days Stamp Set. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I’ve made it.

To begin with, I started by inking it up from bottom to top a large piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper with non-traditional Christmas colors so therefore, I inked it up the paper with Coral Reef Ink and Peach Fuzz Ink creating that way a gradient look.

Once the card panel was completely inked, I set it aside to let the inks dry. So, in the meanwhile I went ahead to line up the Essentials: Radiating Background 1 Die over a white card panel, and once both were line up I ran them through the die-cut machine to create a radiant partial die-cutting background. Moving on, after the card panel was complete, I adhered down the backing of it with double-sided tape to a top folding standard size card base.

Thus, after I was done creating the card base I set it aside, and I moved on to die-cut the Christmas tree. So, I lined up the Merry Days Die over the inked card panel and I ran both to the die-cut machine therefore, once the die-cutting was done I carefully removed the die-cutting panel and I turned it upside down. So, while the die-cutting was facing down I added pieces of double-sided tape to keep each piece in place then, right after that I placed the card panel inside my stamping tool and I lined up over it the coordinated stamp image from the Merry Days Stamp Set. With that said, I picked up the stamp image with my stamping tool door and I added lots of embossing powder tool over the card panel, and I’ve got the image stamped with embossing ink. Lastly, after the stamping, I removed the card panel from my stamping tool and I added gold embossing powder then, right after that I heated set the powder using my heat embossing tool, and once the powder was completely melted, I took the tree out of the card panel and I peeled off the backing of the doubled-sided tape, and last but not least I mounted the dimensional die-cutting tree over a piece of craft foam creating that way some dimension.

Finally after I had created the dimensional and heat embossed Christmas tree, I adhered it down with liquid glue to the center of the card, and I finished the card by mounting a sentiment which I had previously gold heat embossed over a piece of white cardstock, and also by gluing down with liquid glue an artistic die-cutting bow which, I also had previously created out of translucent vellum.
NOTE: The sentiment is from the Season’s Greetings Stamp Set and the die to create the bow is from the Artistic Bow Die Set.

As a finishing touch, I glued down with liquid glue a few gold jewels to add a touch of sparkle, and with that said I hope you have enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created this “Christmas in July” inspiration card showcasing stunning stamps and dies by Pinkfresh Studio.
