Happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you this fun, yet delicate “Shaker” inspiration card made using the just released Essentials: Folk Edge Rectangles Die Set to create the detailed fold edges for the layered card frames. Along with this delicate set, I’ve also used Sweet Friend Floral Stamp Set and Sweet Friend Floral Die to create the subtle floral cluster over the translucent vellum + Enchanting Meadows Stencil Set and PFS- Inks to add a pop of color to the inside shaker window. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

 Therefore, I started off by inking it up a white card panel using Enchanting Meadows Stencil Set. Thus, for the inking process, I went ahead to place down a white card panel over my stencil mat and then, I used each stencil including in the set along with a few ink blending brushes with the following color combination: Peach Fuzz Ink, Apricot Ink and Coral Reef Ink for the small flowers + Fresh Pear Ink, Key Lime Ink and Grassy Knoll Ink for the greenery.

Next, as soon as I had finished inking up the card panel, I went ahead to set it off to the side to let the inks soak into the card panel.

Meanwhile, I went ahead to use each floral stamp image including in Sweet Friend Floral Stamp Set to get the floral images stamped over translucent vellum. Therefore, for the stamping I used embossing ink and white embossing powder to heat emboss each stamped image. Once, I had finished the heat embossing process, I went ahead to use the coordinating dies including in Sweet Friend Floral Stamp Set to cut out the heat embossing images out of the translucent vellum.

Moving on, right after that I had finished die-cutting the floral images, I went ahead to set them off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up the largest die including in Essentials: Folk Edge Rectangles Die Set to cut out the largest detailed panel out of white cardstock. Next, I went ahead to line up the medium size die from the set over another piece of cardstock to cut out the medium size detailed panel. Lastly, I went ahead to line up the 2 smaller dies from the set over another piece of white cardstock to cut out the detailed frame for the shaker window.

Once, I had finished die-cutting each detailed panel and detailed frame, I went ahead to get the card assembling started. Thus, I went ahead to get the backing of the large card panel adhered with double-sided adhesive over an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I got the medium size detailed card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive over the card to add a little bit of dimension. Using the smaller detailed die, I went ahead to cut out the panel from the inked panel and then, I created the shaker window over it. So, to do that, I went ahead to adhere a piece of acetate to the backing of the detailed frame and then, I added pieces of craft foam strips to raise dimension to the shaker window. Lastly, I added shaker bits from my stash along with some of the Jewels: Glacier and then, I went ahead to seal the shaker window using the smaller inked card panel.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get the shaker window mounted over the card. Next, I glued down the die-cutting floral images over the left side of the card. Last but not least, I went ahead to finish the card off by getting it embellished gluing down more jewels and mounting the card sentiment over the shaker window. A card sentiment, which I’ve had previously foil stamped using one of the sentiments created using Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Perfect Sentiments Die.
