Floral Bunch-watercolored | TaeEun Yoo
Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re all doing well! It’s TaeEun here today with a bright watercolored floral card.
I watercolored the Floral Bunch image in bright colors and placed it on the vibrant blue violet background!
I started off by stamping the Floral Bunch image on watercolor paper in Peach Fuzz. I stamped it in the second generation of the inked stamp to get a very light outline. There is a coordinating Layering stencil set but I wanted to try watercoloring on the pretty flowers :) . After the panel was dry I cut the image using the coordinating die.
I hot foiled the Small Butterflies in Aurora and stenciled it in Sunshine, Apricot and Summer Shower using the coordinating layering stencil set. Then I cut the butterfly with the coordinating die.
As the backdrop for the floral cluster I wanted a dark panel. So I chose the violet flowers as the reference and picked a blue violet cardstock. I cut it with the Stitches die and mounted it flat on a navy cardbase. I foam mounted the floral cluster on it and splattered white opaque ink all over the flowers and also on the background.
The sentiment is from Floral Bunch stamp set as well. I stamped it on a strip of white cardstock in Detail black and added it to the card.
To match with the bling of the hot foiled Small Butterfly I finished off the card with some Silver Pearls.
That’s it from me today! I hope you enjoyed looking my card!
Have a crafty day!
