You Have A Heart Of Gold Layout | Brianna Lepper
Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout using the super pretty Happy Heart collection. I paired it with the Modern Simple Wreath cutfile and love how it turned out. Let me know what you think!
In my silhouette software, I duplicated the cut file several different times and in several different sizes. I was originally going to cut them all out on white cardstock but opted to use the 12x12 Small Joys patterned paper. I had a plan to use the same paper as the base for my layout and then layer the cut file pieces in the exact spot where they were cut out from.
Before I sent the files to cut, I arranged them in a fun design and kind of kept in mind where I would put my photo and embellishments.
I wanted to add some mixed media to my page so I got out the Brighter Days Hot Foil Plate, Stencil and Die set and got to work! I ink blended using the Apricot, Sweet Mustard, Sparkling Rose and Evergreen ink cubes. I wanted to somewhat keep my layout in pinks and yellows with a few pops of green here and there.
I built my embellishment clusters by layering all of my die cut florals in the wreaths around my page. I added my title using one of the phrases from the Foiled Sentiments 3 pack and popped it up on foam tape.
I matted my photo with some patterned paper and layered one of the Journaling Bits underneath it. I added a few butterflies using the Puffy Stickers and Cardstock Stickers.
To finish off my page, I added in a few enamel dots and splattered white paint and some gold mist spray for some sparkle.
Here's one final look at this page:
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. Do you like working with cut files? I do! I'm always trying to find new and fun ways to use them too. See you next time friends!
