WRAP IT LAYOUT I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER
Hello everyone! Kerstin here today with a new layout inspiration using the amazing Wrap around elements Dies and Embellishments from Lovely Blooms, Sunshine on my Mind and Tourist Mode.
I wanted to use this Wrap around elements Die for a layout. I thought I would do a watercolor-packaging layout and what goes very well with a watercolor layout - the new stamping inks! I'm in love with the new stamp colours, which I used straight away. Cherry Blossom, Begonia, Mango Sorbet, Ocean Breeze and Eucalyptus go perfectly with the "Captured Moments" paper from the Lovely Blooms collection.
Let's get started!
I have to admit that I had to start three times for my watercolour background. Awwwww! With the first two tries I always blotted into the other colours. Here it happened to me too, but I decided to accept it as a unique project.
The colours you see here are: Cherry Blossom, Begonia, Mango Sorbet and Ocean Breeze. To get this watercolor effect, I took an old packaging bag, dabbed 3-4 times with the stamping ink on the bag, added 3 drops of water and "mixed" it with a brush. I carefully dabbed it onto my white cardstock. I repeated it with the other colours.
Here you can see the last colour - Eucalyptus. I punched out these "ribbons" from the different triangles of "Captured Moments" paper from the Lovely Blooms collection.
I decorated with Embellishments from different collections: Sunshine on my Mind - Acetate Ephemera, Tourist Mode - Puffy Stickers and Lovely Blooms - Puffy Stickers, Floral Ephemera.
Here you have a closer look at my Wrap It layout. I love this colour combination and how it turned out!
I hope I can inspire you to get creative by combining different collections AND a Die with it.
Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!
Kerstin xx
