Home Decor with Let's Stay Home | Céline Erbetta
Hi dear crafters friends ! It's Céline here today, new member of the creative team ! It's with great joy and also a little stress that I present my first creation to you with the Let's Stay Home collection !
I have prepared for you one of the things I prefer to do ... a light garland ! I love them, I have them everywhere in my house !;-) This will go into my entry since it welcomes our visitors ! ;-)
I first cut strips of patterned papers of 5 ½ x 9 ½ inches. On my scoreboard, I made folds, lengthwise, to ½ ', 2' 2/3, 5 ', 7' ¼. In width, at ½ ', 1' 7/8, 3 '¼, 5' ½. Each side of the house measures 2 ¼ inches side. I removed the excess parts on my strip of paper and obtained the shape you see in this photo.
Then I used this template on each paper to quickly delimit the pieces to be removed, so I saved time and above all I avoided cutting the bad pieces ! ;-)
I then punctured the roof of my small houses to be able to slide the bulbs of the garland there. All that remained was to fold and glue !
On 2 of them, I made a small decoration thanks to the diecut Frame Builder: Botanical circle , cardboard stickers and Fabric Bows . Something very simple ;-)
In a white cardstock, I then cut the word Welcome using the alphabet Kelly - Upper Case . I stuck the letters on the houses with 3D foam.
And now, my new garland could take its place and welcome our friends and family!
Did you like this 1st creation ? If so, I hope to see very quickly, on the Facebook page Pinkfreshstudio Fan Group, your pretty light garlands! ;-)
Have a nice day !
Céline
