Watercolor background using many colors | Cristina Sales
Hi friends Cristina here for a new project made with the totally amazing Oh What Fun collection, the Pinkfresh Studio Christmas collection! I really love these new designs and light colors to keep memory about my daily life.
I took this photo the first day of december and this will be the first pic of my december daily. It's perfect for this collection!
I decided to make a mixed media page so I used the watercolor paints that are available in many color shade so I used the aquamarine that is a light green then I spread the emerald city and a light touch of hot red using the candy apple. I spread the aquamarine using an acetate piece directly on the white cardstock. Then, when the first one was dry, I spread some drops of candy apple using a watercolor brush, finally I spread the emerald city that is much more darker.
I totally love how it turned out.
Then I used the slim edgers die to make a stripe I punched with an hole punch to add a piece of red and withe twine.
On this twine composition I made my decoration using all the amazing decorative elements this collection is full.
Ephemera pack, chipboard stickers, puffy stickers, enamel dots and I fussy cut that lovely branch by the home for the holidays patterned paper. That branch reminds me Christmas theme!
My title is made by the phrases puffy stickers that I totally love for colors and fonts used.
To make a little bit of journaling I added a stamps by the sending love and hugs stamps using the detail black ink.
