Hello! Kerstin here today and I've something for you feat. the super cool TOURIST MODE collection. On vacation you find a special stone or a beautiful shell or a beautiful leaf or or or .... I made a treasure box. There you can keep your treasures that you find on your vacation. Curious now?

Let's

I opted for the 4 x 6 inch size. I think this is not too big and not too small!

You need

Cover (front and back)
2 cardboards of 4 x 6 inch

Frame

1 cardboard of 4 x 5 inch ( frame width 3/8 inch ) -> cut out the inner part with the cutter knife

I covered these parts with the brown dotted paper from the 12 x 12 TOURIST MODE Paper Pack

Now let's make the box!

Box bottom

1 cardboard of 4 x 6 inch

2 cardboard of 4 x 2 inch

2 cardboard of 6 x 2 inch

Box cover

1 cardboard 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 inch

2 cardboard 4 1/4 x 1 inch

2 cardboard 6 1/4

I attached these cardboard pieces (Box cover and Box bottom) to white cardstock with double-sided tape and cut them to size - as you can see in the second picture. I glued the flaps together with liquid

I covered the insides with two different 12 x 12 papers (Sightseeing and Ready to Roam) from the 12 x 12 TOURIST MODE Paper Pack. I wanted the effect sun and sea. Did I manage to do

I sprinkled the box with gold paint. You can also sprinkle it first and then glue the insides - might be a

For the word "Treasure" I used the amazing TOURIST MODE Puffy Alpha Stickers. I sewed the letters onto an acetate about 6 1/2 inches long x 1 1/4 wide. I made the back out of the 12 x 12 TOURIST MODE En Route paper. I cut a size of 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches for this. I made a mark on the right and left at 2 inches each with a pencil. These 2 inches are the adhesive surface. The visible back has a width of 2 1/2 inches. I glued the spine to the front and back of the covers. Glued on a ribbon and I glued on the bottom of the box, put the top on top and glued on the cover. The treasure box is now almost finished! Because now comes the most beautiful part - THE

I pasted various elements from the TOURIST MODE Chipboard Stickers, TOURIST MODE Puffy Stickers, TOURIST MODE Cardstock Stickers and TOURIST MODE Ephemera Pack inside the frame. In the middle I have left space and possibly the vacation - like Italy 2023 - to be able to stick.

I'm now happy to collect my vacation favorites in this treasure box.

I hope you like this idea as much as I do!

Thanks for stopping by. See you next time!

Kerstin xx
