That Fall Feeling Mini Album | Susi Becerra
Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here today sharing with you a new scrapbook project using the beautiful Good Times collection! It's perfect to document your fall memories! Do you love leaves, corns and cozy days? Well, then, I think this project is perfect for you so, we are going to have a fun time creating a mini album full of colorful leaves and we are going to play with the gorgeous stencils from Pinkfresh Studio. Are you ready?? Let's go!
We will start creating leaves in different colors using one of my favourite Stencils and coordinating die: Fall Foliage Stencil and Fall Foliage Die.
I used the following ink cubes: Regal kiss, Sweet Mustard, Mint and Evergreen.
Apply the ink with different pressure so you get different shades of the same color. Next, use the coordinating die to cut off the leaves.
Now, we are going to create the structure of the mini. We will need two pieces of chipboard of 4" w x 3" h for front cover and 4" w x 7 h for back cover. I then used white cardstock to cover them. For the spine we are going to need a piece of white cardstock of 6" w x 4" h. Score : 1", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" , 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2", 5".Fold the cardstock accordion style. Join the three pieces ( main cover, spine and back cover) and pick a paper from Good times collection to cover the interior of the album. I chose Finding Joy (side B).
Pages for the interior of mini album are pockets, We need to cut four pieces using white cardstock. Pocket 1: 7" w x 4" h - Pocket 2: 9" w x 4"h - Pocket 3: 11"w x 4" h - Pocket 4: 12" w x 4" h. Fold them in half and join them to the spine. Remember not glue the top of the pocket.
Now we need cut pieces of white cardstock to put inside the pockets. We cut the following pieces: 3 1/2" w x 3 1/2" h ( inside pocket 1) - 3 1/2" w x 4 1/2" h (inside pocket 2) - 3 1/2"w x 5 1/2 " h (inside pocket 3) - 3 1/2" w x 6" h (inside pocket 4).
As we have our structure, cover and spine and pockets ready... time for some fun with the pages. I love this part of the process!. To decorate the pockets you can use papers from the collection. I chose papers that match the color of the leaves. Do you remember all the leaves we had stencilied? Now, we are going to arrange them in our pages. I picked yellow leaves for the first page, then mint and green. The last page has a different decoration.
I complete the decoration of the pages and pockets with words and elements from Good Times: Title Ephemera and Ephemera Pack. For the last page I used a Wood Accent Stickers and a pieces from Ephemera pack.
To finish I used the purple leaves to decorate the main cover of the mini album. I combined them with pieces from Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers and some leaves that I fussy cut from Be Present paper. I used an element from Ephemera Pack to create the title.
To keep the mini album I created a box and I decorated it with beautiful papers and elements from the Good Times collection: I hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you liked it and inspires you in some way! See you next time! Have a great time!
