Hi All! Today I am sharing a project made using the beautiful Keeping It Real collection. I really wanted to also play with texture and dimension and I have a few tips for you to use on your projects!
First, I started with some die cutting. I used these dies: essentials classic tags, artistic bows, stitched squares, and lacey edgers.
One way I added dimension was to fussy cut out and pop up the same print onto the tag. I did that with the florals on the tag below.
I also used repeating tone on tone layering in a couple tags. One where I used my fringe scissors to create several layers and the other where I used die cuts.
Finally, I created a little monochromatic scene on one of the tags and used repeating house and dome images to embellish. I find using repeating images and colors prevents the layering from being too overpowering or busy.
Each tag is a little pocket and has a vellum fold-out insert for a note.
For the embellishing, I used the Keeping It Real puffy stickers, enamel dots, cardstock stickers, and ephemera packs.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the details from this project. Happy Crafting!
