Sunny + Bright, featuring the Celebrate collection | Jung A
Hello friends! I'm back with another layout featuring Pinkfresh Studio. Today, I'm focusing on the Celebrate collection, which is their collaboration collection with Altenew.
I wanted to use some of the beautiful watercolor pattern papers from the paper pack, and here is what I came up with:
I was really inspired to use the Right Now pattern paper, the one with the large yellow circle in the middle. I knew I wanted to give the circle some texture, so I decided to fussy cut it, add machine stitching, and roughen up the edges.
I decided to use a photo strip of my daughter, because the colors in the photo go perfectly with this collection. (We were bored at home, so I gave her a bit of a glam-up, and she looks too grown up. Ha!) I used the other side of the Right Now pattern paper, as well as the Progress pattern paper to back the photo. I added it to the yellow circle, then adhered the "Sunny + Bright" title, which is a puffy phrase stickers from the My Favorite Story collection.
Next, I stamped the large floral from the Celebrate Today stamp set twice on a piece of white cardstock. I used the coordinating die to die cut them out. I tucked on of the images behind my photo strip to the left. I cut a piece from the other stamp set to put on the right side of the photo strip.
I used a lot of the floral images from the Celebrate ephemera pack, as well as a few of the yellow floral pieces from the floral ephemera pack of the My Favorite Story collection.
To fill in some of the spaces, I added some puffy hearts that were included with the puffy phrase stickers, some yellow and pink enamel dots, and a few chipboard flair pieces from the My Favorite Collection. I added a little bit of handwritten journaling to the right of the Bright in my title.
I chose the Progress pattern paper for my background, because I thought it was beautiful with my daughter's skin tone and the flowers in the layout. I added some white watered down acrylic paint splatters, and I doodled some tiny circles with a white gel pen. I adhered the yellow circle a bit more to the left of the pattern paper, and my layout was done!
I really love how this layout turned out. I don't normally use a ton of yellow on my layouts, but I do love how the large watercolor yellow circle and the Sunny + Bright sentiment just highlight my daughter's beauty.
I hope you were inspired by my layout, and I hope you get crafty! Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!
