Hey friends! Erica with you today and I am so excited to share a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the beautiful new Days of Splendor collection from Pinkfresh Studio. 

I am so in love with this collection and I know you are going to fall in love with all the beautiful colors in this collection. I had a sweet photo of two of our boys laying in some colorful leaves and I knew it would be perfect with this collection.

I started by added some distressed layers behind my photo which is about 3x4 in size. I really wanted to use the beautiful 12x12 Fall in Love pattern paper from the collection as my background! It already has a great design going down the left side of the page. I did want to add some white splatters so I used some white acrylic paint from my stash and added some water to it. I used a paint brush to make some fun splatters to the page. I also did this with some gold paint from my stash. It just adds a little something extra behind my photos and embellishments. 

I embellished around my photo using pieces from both die cut packs and some leaves from one of the new cut files called Autumn Leaves Cut File! You can check out all the cut files from Pinkfresh Studio HERE in the shop. I love the way the cut file leaves look tucked in with all the die cuts from Days of Splendor. 

I love the design down the left side of the page but wanted to add a few more embellishments to help make it stand out. I used some of the Days of Splendor Chipboard Flair and some smaller flower die cuts from the Floral Ephemera pack. To finish off the layout I typed out the boys names on a Days of Splendor Cardstock Stickers and added some enamel dots.
