Pocket Size Traveler's Notebook with Out and About
Hello friends! Lorilei here today sharing a pocket-size traveler's notebook I made with the Out and About collection! I chose the gorgeous rainbow paper (New Places) for my front cover and backed it with the Tickets paper for the inside to make the cover sturdy. A pocket-size TN measures 3.5 x 5.5; I cut the paper for my cover a bit bigger so it would wrap nicely around the inserts.
On the inside cover, I added a pocket made from the Scenic Route paper and added a sticker and die cut to the front of the pocket and tucked some tags and die cuts in the pocket.
Next, I made a folder, it's a great spot to add extra die cuts and stickers or receipts and photos. I made a cute little rosette prize ribbon for the front of the folder. I added it to a large tag with some die cuts layered beneath it. I attached it to the notebook with a clip.
I also made a cute flag that tucks into the pocket, just for fun!
Next up, I made an insert notebook for the TN. I used white paper for the inside and the b-side of the Scenic Route paper for the cover. I popped a tag onto the cover and decorated it with stickers, die cuts and puffy stickers. It is pretty flat and shouldn't interfere with writing on the inside pages.
I love the mix of embellishments in Out and About!
Here is a close up look at the cover. I kept it simple with one of the layered embellishments in the Mixed Embellishment pack. I added some tassels and a bead charm I made for extra fun! I also added some of the super cool Epoxy clips into the notebook; I love how they peek overtop of the cover!
I love how the pocket size travelers notebook turned out! The colors are so fun, and it is a great size to pop in your bag when you are out and about to keep track of your adventures. Thanks so much for joining me today!
