Hello everyone! Susi back on the Pinkfresh Studio blog with a cool new project featuring the awesome Picture Perfect collection.This time, I'm excited to share a unique way to preserve your memories using the Vellum Pockets pack from the collection. I absolutely adore incorporating vellum into my projects; it adds a subtle and elegant touch.
Plus, we'll be creating our own Vellum pockets using patterned paper and the collection's tags pack.
Let's dive into the step- by- step process.
First, we'll cut six pieces of patterned paper measuring 3 1/2 " wide x 4 1/2 " high. Then, we'll cut six vellum pieces measuring 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/4 " high. Next, we'll sew or adhere the vellum to our papers to create the pockets. If you don't have a sewing machine, don't worry! you can use double-side tape or liquid glue to join the sides and bottom of the vellum.
Then, attach that piece to the tag using folded cardstock tabs.( 1" h x 3 1/2" w; folded in half). These tabs will help secure the two tags together.
Inside each tag, we'll place one of the pocket vellum pieces.
Now, let's create the packaging to store all our tags. Fold and cut a patterned paper from the collection according to the provided guidelines. You''ll nedd a 8 1/2" w x 11 1/2" h piece of paper.
Important:The areas marked with an X need to be cut out.
Add a ribbon for closure. Then, we'll assemble everithing together. Inside each tag, we'll place one of the pocket vellum pieces.
It's time to decorate the tags and pockets with your photos, journaling, stickers, puffys and die cuts. Add enamel dots to give it a final touch!
