Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends! First of all, I hope you and your families are all well during these weird times, where the COVID-19 has changed our daily life more than I could have imagined. In this time of social distancing I am grateful for this papercrafting hobby to keep the boredom far away!

Let me take you through my latest finished mini album about a weekend getaway with our friends to the biggest island Holland has; Texel. For this mini I used the My Favorite Story collection, and a few bits and pieces from the Noteworthy collection. Below you will see close-ups from the inside of the album, but I will also share a complete flipthrough of this mini album on my Instagram account!

For the cover and back of this mini I used the beautiful Floral tag cutfile. I backed it with the different papers from the My Favorite Story collection. I used acetate for the cover to make it into a shaker pocket. I filled it with sequins from my stash and glued and stitched the cutfile to the front of the shaker. The title came together easily with the beautiful puffy phrase stickers and the white puffy alpha stickers.

I really love the new Plant Kindness cutfile from Pinkfresh that coordinates with the paper Plant Kindness. This way I had a whole lot of tiny flowers which I didn't have to fussy cut out! You will find them scattered around this entire album!

You will see every bit of the Favorite Story collection used in this album. Sometimes I find it hard to use big elements, such as the embellishment tags, on a scrapbook layout. But in this mini, they are the perfect addition!

I don't know about you, but I always have way to many pictures to show. So I always look for fun, interactive ways to incorporate as much pictures as possible. For instance, I cut these 5 photos down and stitched them all together so it becomes a little accordion. Paperclip the little stack in place; 5 pictures on 1 spot!

On this page I didn't stick the cutfile all down, so that I could tuck some pictures behind it. I decorated the empty space with the tiny flowers from the Plant Kindness paper!

Create some pockets to store extra pictures! What I like about pockets is that you can include the pictures that hold precious memories, but that are not as 'goodlooking' to put them in full sight (because taken with poor lighting or just a silly face). The fabric bow is a perfect finishing touch :-)

I also created two pages with flaps for extra space and interest.

Hope I could inspire you to create your own mini album or another beautiful project for your special moments. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for stopping by and stay safe and healthy!
