Hello Pinkfresh Studio 's fans! How are you? It's Celes here with a new idea to share with you ;) Have you seen the Built on Dreams Die? Today we are going to use it to make a mini album :) Yes! You read right!

I love this die and when I saw it for the first time... I already wanted to make a mini album with it. Combining it with an interior accordion structure was ideal.

To make and decorate this mini album I combined the Happy Heart Collection with the Built on Dreams Die, the Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate and the Foiled Sentiments 3.

Structure: first thing to do is to cut 2 houses out of cardboard. We will use this same pattern to cut the inner pages. To cut the houses: mark the outer contour of the die with a pencil and cut. You can see that I cut the chimney straight.

(Remember to cut the inner pages before lining the cardboard houses with cardstock)

Then, you have to cover the cardboard pieces with textured white paper.

Cover: to prepare my cover I used the lovely Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate :) It's SO BEAUTIFUL. I decided to apply foil on a soft pink paper (two pieces) Once you have them ready, you can cut to houses using the die (Built on Dreams Die) in a traditional way.

*Note: before adding both houses to both cover, you must add the ribbon for the closure (one piece for each cover).

After adding the ribbon, add 3d foam to the cut pieces and glue them to the cover. Choose some pieces from the Floral Ephemera Pack and the Foiled Sentiments 3 to decorate both cover. For the main cover: I combinen some flowers in different layers and a phrase from de sentiments pack. Also, I added some Metallic Pearls: Matte Gold. For the back cover: I used a phrase from the sentiments pack that matched the one on the main cover.

Interior Pages: remember that you must cut the pages as I explained above. You need to cut 6 pieces  in white cardstock. Also, you need to cut 5 pieces of white cardstock to fold the pieces that will join the pages. Measurements of the pieces: 1 1/4" w x 2 1/2" h, score at 1/2" and 3/4" (wide).

Join the pages with the folded pieces to form the whole accordion (remember to check the direction of the house on the covers).

Once you have all ready... time to decorate the interior of this lovely mini album!

You need to cut 10 houses using the Built on Dreams Die and the Happy Heart 6x6 Paper Pack. Choose different designs for every page (remember to take into account the pieces that are glued to the covers since they do not need pieces of design paper).

You will notice that when I glued the design papers I have joined the exit of the chimneys to continue with the design of the cover.

*Note: take into account the direction of the house and the design of the paper to be cut.

Time to decorate! ;) The magic moment! I used pieces from the Ephemera Pack, some Wood Accents, the coloful Chipboard Frames and some Cardstock Stickers. I have left space for photos and journaling on all pages.
