Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here today sharing my very first project using the new Some Days collection from Pinkfresh Studio.

I love its color palette, the modern and geometric designs and, of course, I fell in love with the whimsical lemons. As soon as I saw the collection I was clear that the lemons will be the central element of my layout.

I started by drawing small branches on a white 12 x 12 cardboard to later sew them by hand using white thread. I love adding stitched to my pages.

Next, I went through the Ephemera die cuts, Puffy Stickers, Flair chipboard pieces and chose all the lemons and the pink and yellow flowers.

To embellish the black and white photo I created a frame using "Fresh Flowers" patterned paper. I mounted my photo on foam to give some extra dimension and layered it using some die cuts from the collection.

To create the title I took advantage of the words " When life gives you lemons" which are in one of the ornaments from the collection and I added "Make Lemonade" using the green Puffy Alpha Stickers. I placed the title on the left side of my page.

On the right side of the page I added the word Smile using the mini alpha stickers.

To finish off, I made a frame around the page using the "Make Lemonade" paper and I added some stitching around the white cardboard using my sewing machine.

Some enamel dots and Jewels Mix here and there give it the final touch.
