Layout Inspiration | Susi Becerra
Hello crafty friends! It's Susi here today sharing a new Layout with you using the gorgeous Happy Blooms collection available in the Pinkfresh Studio shop.
For my layout I chose two photos of Figaro and Marie, my niece's kittens. They were my inspiration to create this page. First, I got out a white cardstock, drew with a compass a big circle (6 inches diameter circle) and cut it in half, so I got two semicircles.
I chose the following patterned papers to decorate the circle:
- Blossom, side B
- Cottage
- Flower Patch, side B
- Daydream, side B
- Together
Using my sewing-machine I sewed a border around the semicircles, then I arranged the two pieces in the center of the page. Next, I die cut using the Adore Alpha Die Set the name of the kittens, Figaro and Marie. To add dimension I die cut each name three times. I also used the Mini Alphabet Stickers to create the title.
Figaro loves to hunt birds and Marie loves to chase butterflies so Happy Blooms collection was perfect to document it. I layered the photos using patterned papers and I fussy cut from "Homegrown" and "Garden" papers some birds houses and butterflies.
I also used elements from Ephemera Pack to embellish the page.
And that's all. I've had a lot of fun creating this layout, a very easy page that I hope inspires you. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!
Take care and happy crafting! See you next time.
