Hi everyone! Ho-ho-ho! Christmas is coming! ;) and I'm super excited to be back to share a new idea with you... I'm in LOVE with the Happy Holidays collection! Let's make a mini album... with precious hot foil details ;)

Nothing prettier for the cover than combining a shaker with hot foil details, don't you think?

Structure:

To make this mini album you will need 3 pieces of cardboard: a- 2 of 5 1/4" w x 4" h and b- 1 of 1 1/2" w x 4" h 

We have to cover the cover with a design paper and the back cover together with the spine with another design paper. Both of them from the Happy Holidays Collection 12 x 12 Paper Pack.

Cover:

For our cover we will prepare a beautiful shaker. To make it I used the Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set, the Joy set (Joy Hot Foil Plate, Joy Die) with my Glimmer Hot Foil System and the Essentials: Crystals Mix.

First thing to do is to cut a paper frame for the shaker and add a piece of acetate. We also prepare the word Joy using the Joy Hot Foil Plate with the Glimmer Hot Foil System and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Red. When we have the word ready we cut the letters using Joy Die. Add 3D foam to the frame of the shaker and place in the center of the cover the crystals from the Essentials: Crystals Mix.

We put together the cover by adding some pieces from the Ephemera pack (use 3d foam to generate different layers).

Spine:

Cut an extra piece of cardboard of 1 1/4" w x 3 3/4" h. We must cover it with the same design paper as the cover. And add a hanging paper detail (I cut the red strip from the cover of the paper pack). A small ball chain and a piece from the Tag Ephemera are the final details.

Interior:

You need to cut a piece of white cardstock of 9 1/2" w x 3 1/2" h and score it at: 1 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/4", 4 3/4", 5 1/4", 5 1/2", 6", 6 1/2", 6 3/4", 7 1/4", 7 3/4", 8" (wide). You will get a spine of 5 hings. Paste it on the spine, add the closing ribbons and the interior papers of the structure.

Pages:

Prepare pocket pages and cards for each one of them. Can be verticals or horizontals. You can choose that ;)

Once we have the pages we can begin to decorate them with the papers from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack. It's the funniest moment of all! Decorate and have fun combining all the embellishments.

In my case I used the Ephemera pack, the Cardstock Stickers, the Chipboard Frames, the Wood Accents and the Enamel Dots.

It is a mini album with a lot of space for photos and memories :)
