It's All Good Layout | Susi Becerra
Hello everyone! It's Susi here today on the Pinkfresh Studio blog featuring the gorgeous Making the Best of It Collection from Pinkfresh Studio! and there is exciting news - this Collection is now available in Spanish, fulfilling the dreams of all Spanish-speaking scrapbook addicts.
I've created a stunning 12 x 12 Layout using the Paper Quilling technique. I love it!
Let's get started!
To begin, cut white cardstock strips measuring a quarter-inch wide. Select your favorite patterned paper from the Collection and cut a 6 1/2 inch diameter circle. This will be your project's base. Next, sketch smaller circles with a pencil as a guide for gluing the paper strips.
TIP: Use liquid glue to hold the strips in place.
Next, attach your photo to the smaller circle. Now, it's time to decorate! I added color using the lnk cubes from Pinkfresh Studio matching with the paper's design. I Incorporated vibrant shades of green, yellow and orange.
For the title, I used the enchanting phrases from the collection, placing them around the outer circle. Add coordinating embellishments with your patterned paper- this collection boasts a variety, including puffys, die cuts, stickers...and delightful floral motifs in vellum.
A charming retail I added is a bow using the Artistic bows Die Set. Finally, to add texture, stitch with white thread along the page edges. Don't forget the final touch- Enamel Dots.
And that's all! I hope you enjoyed this project and feel inspired to explore more with the Paper Killing technique. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Happy crafting!
