It's Advent time ... | Celine Erbetta
In the "I love Christmas" series, preparing my Advent calendar is always a joy for me! Choose the format, colors, papers and embellishments, I love it!
This year, and because I wanted to use this support for a long time, my calendar will fit on… a hanger! You know, from those that we collect in the dry cleaners, in wire, very simple ... and in addition, we give it a second life! Ecological, right? 😉
For papers and embellishments, of course, I chose the colorful Oh what fun collection, targeting papers, puffy stickers and enamel dots!
So I cut and glued 24 berlingots: 13 in printed paper, 10 in plain card stock. On each of the first 13 I stuck a numbered dot. I had typed the numbers on the computer beforehand and printed them out. Then bigshot cut with a circle die, but it's totally doable with a simple punch.
On the plain cardstock, I defined a pattern that I repeated on each: a velum paper round, a puffy sticker, a piece of silver metallic wire, to remind you of the hanger, and an enamel dot! Very simple, no? I still added a few spots of white acrylic paint to it.
All that remained was to perforate each pouch at the top and pass a string through it. For the plain, the number has been passed in this string.
A small light garland to add a magical touch 😉 There you go, just fill the boxes with chocolate and count the days between us and Christmas!
Have a nice day!
