Hydrangea and Rose Layout | Desiree
Hello crafty friends! It's Desiree here. Today, I want to show you this simple layout I made with the beautiful Hydrangea and Rose Washi Tape.
I started with plain cardstock and this green patterned paper from the Happy Blooms 6x6 paper pack. Next, I unrolled the Hydrangea and Rose Washi Tape and laid it onto white cardstock. Then I used the Hydrangea and Rose Die to cut out the florals.
My goal was to have a big and small cluster on opposite sides of my page. So I added a little of the Olive Premium Dye Ink using the packaging technique where each cluster would go.
For my small cluster, I used a small strip of the green patterned paper. I layered in a washi rose and leaves. The leaves were, made using the Curvy Leaves Dies Set.
I wanted the large cluster to be the focus of my page. So I used the green patterned paper to back my photo. I layered lots of the beautiful Hydrangea and Rose Washi under the cluster. I also added more curvy leaves.
I completed my layout with two things. First, I used the Happy Blooms Puffy Alphas which were the perfect shade of green for this layout. Last, I sprinkled on some Gold Metallic Pearls. The gold pearls brought out the lovely gold foiling of the florals in the washi tape.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed this Hydrangea and Rose layout.
