Holiday Inspiration with Home for the Holidays | Erica Thompson
Hey Pinkfresh Fans! Erica here with you today to bring two holiday layouts using the Home for the Holidays collection. My first layout was created for this months challenge All Things Holiday! I used the new Wreath holiday cut files along with the Home for the Holidays collection.
I cut the file out twice on white cardstock. I only backed one of the cut files with papers from the collection and stacked the two files together. I wanted to make the wreath look fuller and have some dimension. I added foam adhesive to the back of the cut files and adhered down to a piece of white cardstock. I created two clusters on the wreath. One around my photo and the other in the bottom right of the wreath. The photo is of our kids visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
My second layout I wanted to pull out some circle punches and the new Pinkfresh Studio mini ink pads. I pulled out the Heartbeat and Over the Hills cube sets. I added ink splatters all around my white cardstock base.
I pulled out all the scraps I had from the Home for the Holidays collection and started punching out shapes. Once I had all the circles punched out I arranged them on my page. Some are popped up with foam and some are adhered to the background with a tape runner. I added some enamel dots and the wood embellishments from the mixed embellishment pack. I punched out my photo as well with a circle cut and matted it on the largest circle.
I layered some of the Home for the Holidays embellishments on my cut circles around the page. I used the white puffy alpha to create my title and my WRMK typewriter to add the date. Here is a look at my completed layout.
