Hey, boniqueces! How are you? I’m thrilled to be here, speaking to you guys, again! Today’s entry is a very special one for me because I’m finally able to introduce myself as a part of the Pinkfresh Studio Creative Team. When they asked me to be part of the scrapbooking team I cried, I got nervous, I sang and I basically hugged every person that I found. I was SO EXCITED that I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t.
But here I am today, celebrating it with you guys, presenting you two new projects. The first one is a very special one for me, because I created it for my partner, who I love more than anyone in the world. I created a project with three layers. The first one I did it by first stamping some flowers and leaves on my page and I colored them with watercolors.
Afterwards, I fussy cut a picture of us and I glued it on the background. And finally I added some tree shapes that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo on two patterned papers from Everyday Musings collection to create a sense of depth. Then I added a title with my favorite alphabet stickers from Everyday Musings and Joyful day collections.
I really hope you like this one!
And the second one is my favorite. I know that, as with parents are not supposed to with their kids, we aren’t supposed to have favorites, but I do, I’m sorry! I’m super guilty on this one! :)
For it, I chose to work with a little lantern from Ikea that I had in my place since ages ago. It looked kind of like a mini fridge. I don’t have a clue why that was, but I loved it. No clue why either. I decided to create a mini world inside of it. I chose books as a theme. Maybe it was because international book day was close. Maybe I’m just obsessed about reading. Anyway, I started the project creating some miniature books folding a white cardstock and glueing some of the parts to create the pages. I created the covers with some of my favorite papers from Everyday musings and Joyful day collections.
Then I created a fake background with a plastic sheet glueing the sentence "once upon a time" with my favorite stickers from both collections. I added some pompons and I glued the plastic sheet inside the "world".
I hung the minibooks with some fishing line to the ceiling and added a fussy cut picture of myself to it. That’s it is ready!! I really hope you like this one too!
I want to thank Pinkfresh Studio for this wonderful opportunity and gift that they are giving me and thank you all for being here, today and always by my side. I feel both loved and extremely happy to be able to count on you, boniqueces. Have a beautiful day, scrap a lot and eat a ton of Maltesers! :)
