HELLO LOVELY SPRINGTIME | JOSEFINE VD HOEVEN
Hello creative Paperlovers,
I am so happy to see you today on the Pinkfresh blog. It's Josefine here and share with you a new scrapbook layout with the amazing new collection "happy Heart" I absolutely love this collection. The soft colors and the amazing embelischments make me totally happy!
For this layout, I took inspiration from April's mood board. I wanted to use a patterned paper as a background. I normally scrap on white cardstock but I totally love the light blue patterned paper with the gorgeous half flower wreath so much that I definitely wanted to use it for my Spring layout.
I cut several flowers from the patterned paper and adhere them to my layout with 3D tape for added dimension. I love the effect it gives. For the title, I use different alpha sets. This gives your title a playful effect. It's often the little details that give your layout that extra something. Then I cut two circles from different pattern papers and gave the edges a gold stitch border with gold sewing thread. I also cut the photo into a circle and place it on top.
I select the different die-cuts from the different ephemera sets to decorate my layout. I used the following Ephemera sets, Happy Heart floral, Happy Heart Ephemera pack and the Happy Heart title Ephemera. I make a big cluster with all these great die-cuts on the left side of the cute picture of my daughter at the farm.
I wanted to add some extra leaves to my spring layout and I used the following stand alone metallic dies, Curvy leaves die-set and Artistic Blossoms. For the leaves I used white cardstock. I colored some of the leaves with ink. The color ink I used is called "Fresh Pear"
I decorate my layout with some more stickers and wood veneer elements. I'm very happy with the result and thought it would be fun to use patterned paper as a background for once. I also like all the layers with all these great embellishments. I hope I was able to give you some ideas and hope to see you again soon. Wishing you a beautiful and creative day friends! XoXo, Jo
