Happy Blooms Layout | Susi Becerra
Hello everyone! It's Susi here today sharing with you a new Layout using the beautiful Happy Blooms collection from Pinkfresh Studio. I really love this collection and its amazing patterns.
To create this layout I started by fussy cutting a bunch of flowers from the "Heirloom" patterned paper. I love this paper and it took me a while to cut it.
To create my background I used the Pinkfresh Ink cubes. I mixed with water two colors,Lavender and Slumber, then I added splatters using a brush. With white acrylic paint mixed with water I spread more splatters. Next, I stamped on it the sentiments from the Butterflies Stamp Set. Finally I added a stitching to my background.
I trimmed down three strips from "Daydream" patterned paper to 1/2 x 10 inches and curled each one with a pencil. I glued them in the center of the page with liquid glue. After that, it was time to play with the different layers and embellisments.
I layered my photo with different papers from the collection and glued it on top of the paper strips. Next I arranged all the floral elements around it and glued everything down. I used foam adhesive on some elements to add dimension.
I die cut branches using the Leafy Branch Die and a white cardstock. To finish I embellished the photo with phrases and flowers. Some enamels from the collection give it the final touch. I really love with how this layout turned out.
I hope you like it and inspires you to create a similar layout using the beautiful Happy Blooms collection.
Thanks for stopping by and have a happy scrappy day!
