I am a 30-something, wife to a Brit, momma to a former micro-preemie, maker and excessive coffee drinker. I currently reside near Houston, Texas, but have lived in several U.S. states and the U.K. I love to travel and cook when I’m not documenting memories. I’d love to connect with you on my blog or Instagram!
Hello Pinkfresh fans! My name is Meghann Andrew and I am so excited to be here with you today as the Oh Joy guest designer! This collection is graphic, clean, colorful and right up my alley when it comes to product. I had a lot of fun creating with this collection, and I’d love to share my projects with you.
This fun, playful layout was created with the beautiful trees cut from the Merry and Bright paper framing my photo. The neutral Advent Love paper became my base, with the ’Tis the Season blue pattern creating my “sky” above the trees. The space directly below my photo became the natural spot for my title, which I created with a die-cut word and the Oh Joy chipboard stickers.
I created a layered embellishment using the Oh Joy washi stickers, puffy stickers, a button, some twine and a sequin, which added the perfect finishing touch to my title area.
My second layout was created to document another favorite Christmas memory, my father singing Christmas carols to my daughter before bed one night.
This clean layout features a lot of movement, first from the floating dots on the ’Tis the Season patterned paper, then from the scattering of die-cut musical notes, cardstock stickers, and puffy stickers that create a sense of music on the page, and I’ve sharing my creative process in this video:
Even though this layout is quite simple, the Oh Joy collection documents this Christmas memory perfectly!
Lastly, I had about thirty minutes after creating these layouts to use more of the Oh Joy collection, and I took that time to create four quick and easy cards! These special handmade cards would impress any recipient this holiday season, so if you need a handmade element to accompany your gift, look no further than this collection.
I also created a process video while making these cards! Take a look at how easy it was to create them with the Oh Joy collection:
Thanks so much for stopping by the Pinkfresh blog today! I hope you’ve been inspired to create with the Oh Joy collection this holiday season.
