Grateful Layout | Desiree Lamar
Hey friends! If you are like me, then you may be knee-deep in your fall projects. So today, I have a fall layout to share with a recent picture of myself at the zoo.
This fall-inspired layout features The Best Day Collection. To start my page, I used this beautiful blue patterned paper from the Happy Blooms 12x12 Paper Pack that I have been hoarding. I folded the paper fan style and tied it a little off center with string to give the paper a cinched appearance.
I placed eyelets on the four corners of the paper and tied it around my cardstock to secure it. Now, I was ready to make my cluster at the cinched area of my page. I opted for the soft brown florals from The Best Day Floral Ephemera and The Best Day Ephemera Pack to layer at the top and bottom of the cluster.
Next, I selected a blue frame from The Best Day Chipboard Frames to layer behind my photo. To repeat the circles, I used The Best Day Chipboard Flair, Enamel Dots, and Cardstock Stickers.
I wanted my page to have a little more interest. So I added splatters with the Premium Die Ink Pads in the colors Sparkling Rose and Storm using the packaging technique. To complete the layout, I used the Heather Lowercase Die Set to create my "grateful" title.
I am so thrilled with this layout and my unintentional color scheme. I hope you are enjoying creating with this collection as I am.
