Floral Birthday Mini Banner | Celes Gonzalo
Hello everybody! How are you today? Are you ready for new inspiration? I'm so happy to be here today ;) I've been creating so many thing with the new die/stamp/stencils sets of Pinkfresh Studio. They are so beautiful :) Today I have a new and sweet idea to give as a present to someone we love. For a friend, our kids, parents, grandma or grandpa... Surprise them for their birthday (or any other special occasion) with this Floral Mini Banner.
For this idea I used as the base of my design the Essentials: Ornate Banner Die Set. I think it is one of the sets that cannot be missing among your Pinkfresh Studio products. Also the Lea's Ornate Uppercase Die Set and the Heather Lowercase Die Set were great. I love the size and the design of them. They look so well together ;)You can prepare this mini banner as a birthday idea or to other occasion such as graduation, a baby shower, congratulations on a new house or a trip.
I decided to combine all the sets that I mentioned before with the lovely In the Meadow Stamp and In the Meadow Die. The idea of combining those sets with these alphabets made me fall in love.
I used the Solid Hot Foil Plate with my Glimmer Hot Foil System by Spellbinders to prepare the letters for my banner. But I leave the skinny outline in a white and texture cardstock. It looks so beautiful :)
And for the background of each letter I prepared some flowers using the In the Meadow Stamp and In the Meadow Die. First I used Silver Pearl embossing powder to stamp and then I painted them with the Premium Dye Inks: Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef, Mint, Meadow. I applied them with water as if they were watercolors. They look amazing :)
Another detail that I wanted to add were the Metallic Pearls: Matte Gold. As you can see they combine perfectly with the lovely Matte Gold Glimmer Hot Foil Roll that I used ;) They are AMAZING!
And... my final detail... one of my favorite sets... the Artistic Bows Die Set. I used the same paper as for the banner and I cut the center using the remains of paper decorated with hot foil.
What do think about this idea? I hope you like it ;)
Thanks for stopping by! See you next time! :)

The letters look hot foiled. Can both upper and lower case sets be purchased – i don’t see them on your site.
I’m curious about how you did the letters? Would you be willing to explain how you got the foil on the letters but let the edges white? I love that and want to try! Thank you!!
This turned out absolutely amazing! What paper are you using as your base? It is beautiful!
