Hi Pinkfresh friends, I'm happy you are here with me today! Let’s talk about how this layout came together. It features the lovely Celebrate collection and the Embroidered blossoms stampset, designed by Kaitlin Sheaffer.

I started this layout with stamping the different floral images from the Embroidered blossoms set on white cardstock. I chose colors which matched perfectly with the colors from the collection and cut them out with the matching dies. If you’re curious for the colors; check the end of this blogpost for a list.

 For the background I decided to enhance the olivegreen color that’s throughout the Celebrate collection, for a nice contrast with the colorful flowers. I used the backgroundstamp Diamond tiles with the olive inkcube and stamped in different areas of my layout. I didn’t ink up the entire stamp, for an imperfect impression. I also watered down the olivegreen ink on some plastic packaging, and put this on the background for this lovely a watercoloreffect.

 The ombre pink paper strip on the right side of the layout is from the paper ‘Progress’, the floral paperstrip is from the paper ‘Everyday moments’. I also fussycut some of the flowers from this paper.

 Then I placed all the florals and leaves into two floral clusters next to my picture. I used a frame from the cardstock die cuts and chose the ‘hello’ piece as part of my title. The white alphas are from the My favorite story collection. 

I finished the layout of with some green stickers and enamel dots from the Noteworthy collection, which also have that olive green color.
