December Days album | Susi Becerra

Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here today sharing a new Christmas project featuring the gorgeous "Holiday Magic" collection from Pinkfresh Studio.

December is the most wonderful time of the year, and I love to document those days in a mini album, so I prepared the base of the album in advance. The size of the cover is 5 1/2 " x 5 1/2 " and the spine measures 2" x 5 1/2 ". This album has a double spine so to make it you'll need:

- 3 cardboard pieces for the covers and 2 cardboard pieces for the spines.

The order to attach all the pieces is as follows: Front cover - Spine - Back cover -Spine -  Cover.

I used white cardstock to prepare the base of the mini and to embellish the cover I used gold paper and patterned paper from 6 x 6 paper pack. I can't resist to use the cute pink house from Ephemera pack. It's so amazing! The perfect title for my album was !Enjoying the season! from  the Title Ephemera pack from the collection.

Let's go inside the album!

I made an accordion mini using the 12 x 12 patterned papers from the collection. As I was adhering the pages together, I make sure to make pockets between the papers. By only adding adhesive to three sides you could have a pocket at the top of the pages. I loved how this worked out. This way you can added a lot of photos or hide spaces for tags that hold your thoughts and words. Interactive is one of my favorites techniques on a mini album.

This accordion is attached to the central piece of the structure of the mini. On  the right side I added an envelope and I created a small notebook where you can write the journaling and memories.

On the left side of the structure I added a die cut and tags.

Next, I decided to glued the year 2021 on the last cover of the album.

Let's go with the inner pages!

Each of the four inner pages measures 12 x 4 1/2" with a 1/8 " spine on each insert .Each page has a flap which measures 3 inches.

Here is some close up of the pages. I only prepared the pages using mostly die cuts and stickers from the collection.

I used the new Holiday ornaments Die set to cut the Christmas Ball and put on it the days. To create the numbers I used the beautiful Heather Lowercase Die set.

How beautiful is this frame from Chipboard Frame set! This collection is full of gorgeous ornaments!

I hope I could inspire you with my December Daily mini album. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Merry Christmas!
