Hello everyone! It's Susi here again on the Pinkfresh Studio blog and this time I bring you a 12 x 12 layout made with the amazing The Simple Things collection. This cheerful, fun and full of color collection is pure inspiration for creating beautiful scrapbooking projects.

Let's get started!

First off, let's choose three patterned papers from the collection that complement the tones of our photograph. Don't worry if your photo doesn'r coordinate with the colors of the collection, you can always print it in black and white. I've picked the following papers: Here comes the fun (side B)  and Life is Sweet.

Now , we're going to create three tags using the gorgeous Shaker Tag Book Die from Pinkfresh Studio.

To create a more dynamic and interactive layout, we'll add an accordion to each tag, Cut three pieces of white cardstock measuring 2 1/2" w x 3 1/2" h. Then, score  these pieces at 1", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3". Using the Shaker Tag Book Die again, shape the end of each piece measuring one inch. Then, attach that piece by the tab, gluing the last tab to the bottom of the decorative tag. All that's left is to fold the added piece into an accordion.

Now let's arrange our tags on the page. I've placed the center tag slightly lower than the other two.

To frame the photo, I've used a pink frame from the Chipboard Frames pack that coordinates  with the flowers in the photo. On both sides, I've added small embellisments from the Cardstock  Stickers Pack.

Now the really fun part, decorating the accordion  on each tag!. This collection has plenty of embellisments that will make your layout look amazing. You can use Puffy Stickers, Ephemera pack, Vellum Ephemera, Layered Stickers, ..

I've also used the washi tape to create more embellishments. Simply stick a strip of washi tape with tickets on white cardstock and cut out the images. Now you have a die-cut.

Add a special touch to your layout by placing baker twine or thread on the tags. The Puffy Title Stickers are perfect for creating the title of the page.

Finish it all off with some enamel dots for some dimension and another patterned paper from the collection to frame your layout!
