Cutfiles and Mixing & Matching paper collections
Hey Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Jung here, and today I'm sharing 2 layouts that I created by mixing and matching the Just A Little Lovely and Office Hours paper collections. I am also using a couple cut files designed to coordinate with these paper collections. They will be available soon, so keep a look out!
For my first layout, I am using the Lovely Tag cutfile.
I cut it from white cardstock, and backed it with the Hope and New Thoughts pattern papers from the Just A Little Lovely collection. For my background, I used the Around Here pattern paper (my favorite from the collection). On the background, I used some of the Pinkfresh watercolors to add some splatters. I also took one of the tiny flowers from the Lovely Blossoms stamp set to add some tone-on-tone stamping. I adhered the cutfile with thin foam squares.
Next I added my photo. I layered it with pattern paper. I used one of the Lacey Edgers stand alone dies to create a cute scalloped edge to layer under my photo. I also added a fussy cut file tab from the Office Hours Busy pattern paper.
For my title, I used the Just a Little Lovely puffy alpha stickers. I added a little bit of hand written journaling...I love that this pattern paper has grid lines to keep everything straight!
To embellish, I added some Office Hours puffy stickers (that tiny pencil is just the cutest), a fabric ephemera piece, enamel dots, and a few phrase stickers from the Just a Little Love collection.
For my next layout, I used the Heart & Floral cutfile.
Again, I used the Hope and New Thoughts pattern paper to back the florals on the cutfile. I decided to use the Story pattern paper for my background. I added a lot of white splatters to the page; I used just a little bit of white acrylic paint watered down. Next, I partially machine stitched the heart to my background. I wanted to be able to tuck my photos under the flowers, so I didn't stitch the flowers down. I used just a little bit of foam squares under the flowers to add that dimension.
For my title, I used the tiny pink puffy alpha, as well as a cardstock label from the Office Hours collection to spell out the word fifteen (for our fifteenth wedding anniversary). My journaling is just a few words from one of our favorite songs called "From This Moment On."
I embellished the layout with a few pieces from the Office Hours collection. I was able to use a lot of the phrases from this collection on my anniversary page..."top priority," "make it happen," "start here"...totally work for relationships!
Again, I used the Lacey Edgers dies to add some scalloped details behind my photos. I also used a few cardstock ephemera pieces from the Just A Little Lovely collection.
I hope you enjoyed my layouts as much as I loved making them. I absolutely love the papers in the Just a Little Lovely collection...especially the B sides! I love the look of mixed media, and these papers are already ready to go! The office hours collection has turned out to be surprisingly versatile. I have used them on a craft room layout, school layouts, and now an anniversary layout.
Thanks for stopping by and hanging out! Don't forget to check out the Pinkfresh Studio website for all these supplies!
