Currently Reading Booklet | Desiree Lamar
Hello crafty friends! I am so excited to share this project that I had in mind from the moment I first saw The Best Day Collection. With the reading elements in this collection, I was inspired to make a Currently Reading Booklet.
I started with the "Cozy Days" patterned paper from The Best Day 12 x 12 Paper Pack.
I left the width of the paper at 12 inches and cut the height down to 7.5 inches. Then, I folded the paper at 4.5 inches, 9 inches, and 9.25 inches. With these folds, you should have a trifold booklet.
Once the bones of my project was completed, I made a title card using a card from The Best Day Journaling Bits and Puffy Alphas. To complete my cover, I used chipboard flair, puffy stickers, and ephemera all from The Best Day Collection.
Next, I added a leftover strip of paper to the left of the inside of the booklet to make a little pocket. I adorned the pocket with labels and stickers from The Best Day Cardstock Stickers.
My paper pad was very simple. I cut blank printer paper to 3.75 x 7 inches. Then I stapled the paper together and adhered a leftover strip of paper to the top of the paper pad. Last, I adhered the back of the paper pad to the inside of my booklet.
To complete my booklet, I added a card from the journaling bits to my out flap. Then, I sprinkled enamel dots throughout my project.
I'm so happy I was able to share this project with you today! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
