Celebrate Layout | Celes Gonzalo
Hello "crafty" friends! Happy New Year! It's Celes here ;) I'm so happy to be back in the amazing team of Pinkfresh Studio. Today I'm sharing with you my first idea of this year. Last week was my birthday (I turned 40) so I decided to use some of the photos from that weekend and create a special layout.
I chose the In the Meadow Set (In the Meadow Die, In the Meadow Stamp and In the Meadow Layering Stencils) and one paper from the Happy Bloom 12x12 paper pack.
I'm so in love with this set :) As I love rainbows too, I decided to prepare a rainbow layout. The In the Meadow Layering Stencils set is sooo beautiful. Once you start using it, you can't stop working with it!
To make my rainbow style composition I chose a range of assorted colors from the Premium Dye Ink Pad collection from Pinkfresh Studio: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious, Candy Apple, Apricot, Marigold, Persimmon, Lemon Whip, Sunshine, Fresh Pear, Mint, Meadow, Aquamarine, Tidal Pond, Sky Blue, Ocean Breeze, Slumber, Seaside, Sapphire, Ballet Slipper, Sparkilng Rose, Bubble Gum, Rasberry Bliss, Soft Lilac.
I prepared 5 sets of leaves and flower and I did embossing at the end with a white embossing powder (I preferred to do it last and not before working with the stencils because I like the way it looks). Also a printed two photos in black and white (It's lovely how they look when they are surrounded by so much color). I cut the photos using the Braided Circles Die Set (the big circle die) and I added a piece of glitter paper to each one using the Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set.
I like to glue everything in layers so I used foam 3D (of different thicknesses ). I also wanted to add shiny details so I decided to use some of the hot foil plates from Pinkfresh Studio.
The Celebrate Hot Foil Plate and the coordinated Celebrate Die + the Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate nd the coordinated Small Butterflies Die were perfect for this idea. Butterflies + flowers AMAZING! Don't you think? I must confess that I'm obsessed with the small butterflies set... it's one of my favorites!
The final details for this layout were: the Heather Lowercase Die Set (to add my age), the Crystals Mix (clear crystals look wonderful) and a bit of white watercolor.
I see this layout and I feel happy again like that day... This is why I love so much to create with my memories... Scrapbooking is the most beautiful thing in the world! ;)
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you like this idea ;)
See you next time!
