Bookcase Gift Boxes | Ashley Bright
Hi All! Ashley Bright here! I am so excited to be sharing my first Design Team project for Pinkfresh Studio featuring the beautiful Celebrate collection. I decided to make a mini bookcase perfect to gift small items to your crafty friends, or to keep all to yourself for cute storage and decor.
I will list all the specific measurements at the bottom. It's pretty easy to assemble once you cut out the parts!
I put together my shelf by lining card stock with some Celebrate patterned papers (Everyday Moments and This Story). I then embellished the front using one of the Essentials Lacey Edgers dies. On top of the die cuts, I layered several pieces from the Celebrate ephemera pack.
I made three book inserts for the shelf, all lined with different patterned papers. On the covers of each, I used some chipboard flair and the smallest hexagon die from the Essentials Basic Label Frames to embellish. Each book cover wraps around a little box and is held shut with some thread.
I decided to include some mini embellishments inside each box and again used the hexagon dies. This time layering a couple sizes on top of each other. I went back to the patterned papers to fussy cut out some beautiful florals and used sentiments from the ephemera pack. I am a big fan of dimension so there's lots of foam tape on each layer of these little embellishments.
I absolutely adore the colors and florals in this collection! I love how this project turned out and I hope you enjoyed seeing some details. Below are the exact measurements if you are interested.
