BE KIND LAYOUT I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER
Hello Pinkfresh Studio fans and lovers! It's Kerstin here today with a new inspiration feat. the fabulous FLOWER MARKET collection! My kids are my favorite photo subjects and I love keeping memories with them. My layouts with them first go on a photo wall. I keep changing my layouts on the photo wall and then these memories go into albums. It is always a huge pleasure to look at old layouts. But let's start now with this new inspiration!
I used two snapshots of my kids, Leonie and Tim, for this 12 x 12 layout feat. the magical FLOWER MARKET collection.
I cut three 2 1/2 x 4 inch strips from various 12 x 12 papers. I must confess, choosing papers is always very difficult for me - laugh! I used the Essentials: Shaker Heart Die Set to punch out the hearts. To place the hearts the same way, I put all three strips of paper on top of each other and ran them through my die-cutting machine. Two strips worked, the bottom one I had to go through one more time. Because the "imprint" was clearly visible, it was possible to see the same spot.
I glued these three strips on with 3D Foam. In the center I punched an eyelet in each paper strip. Through it I pulled yarn. Now comes the second hardest part for me - picking out matching embellishments. I used several Embellishments from the FLOWER MARKET Ephemera Pack, FLOWER MARKET Floral Ephemera and FLOWER MARKET Chipboard Flair.
I punched a small hole in some of the Embellishments to be able to thread them onto the yarn. The other Embellishments I have arranged to fit. Of course, no FLOWER MARKET Enamel Dots should be missing! I love to set small accents with it. I placed the photos in the punched out hearts and fixed them with double-sided tape.
I wrote my journaling in the middle heart. Often I write a reminder/message I want to leave for my kids on the back of the layout. It's a joy for me every time Leonie and Tim discover it!
I hope you like this idea and I can inspire you! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative time! See you soon!
