Hello everyone! It's Celes here ;) So happy to share a new idea with all of you! Today we are making a double accordion mini album... a sweet and easy idea to make a beautiful gift for the person we love.

My version is for the love of my life, Sebastian, that is why I prepared a monochromatic-inspired cover.  "The Best Days" collection is perfect for this idea, it has such lovely papers :) I decided to use both paper packs: 1- the 12x12 paper pack for both covers and 2- the 6x6 paper pack for the interior.

For the structure you will need 2 pieces of cardboard of: 5 1/4" w x 6 1/4" h. Also you will have to make an accordion with pages of 5 1/8" w x 6 1/8" h and with 1/4 "of separation between them. I recommend you use large sheets of paper to assemble it. You can make the accordion with as many pages as you like. In my case I prepared an accordion of 8 pages. As we will use it from both sides we will have a total of 14 pages.

For the cover: my base color is light blue with brown details. As I wanted a layered decoration for the cover, I prepared some paper rosettes in different sizes. Also I added one piece from the Chipboard Frames pack, some flowers from the Floral Ephemera Pack and I prepared the initial of my love using the Inna Alpha Stamp Set, the Inna Alpha Layering Stencils and the Inna Alpha Die Set. For the initial I used some dye ink pads:  Sky Blue, Ocean Breeze and Warm Buff. You will see some glitter details on it... I love the glitter! So I used a glitter pen for it ;)

For the back cover: as we are using our accordion on both sides, it's a good idea to make a simple but beautiful decoration for the back cover. You will see that I combined a new paper design with the one I use for the cover. Also I prepared some shiny details using speciality papers and the Simple Edgers Die Set .

Note: remember to add the ribbon before gluing the accordion.

For the pages: to decorate the pages of the accordion I used the 6x6 paper pack. The size is perfect! ;) I also wanted to have plenty of space for photographs, that's why I added small details with the Ephemera Pack, the Cardstock Stickers, the Enamel Dots, the Mini Alphabet Stickers pack and some pockets from the Journaling Bits pack. You can even add some stamps and prepare some tags and cards for it. Just have in mind the space between the pages :)
