A Day In L.A. Layout | Brianna Lepper
Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout featuring the Life Right Now collection. This collection is perfect for documenting every day life as well as fun adventures! On our recent vacation back home to California, I took my boys to their first Dodger baseball game and we had the best time!! Here's my layout:
The colors in my photo match this collection so perfectly and I was really inspired to use the 12x12 Weekend Wanderings paper as a main part of my layout. Dodger stadium is about 2.5 hours from my parents house so it was definitely a little road trip to get down there. I tore into the paper at a diagonal and before I adhered it down, I did some ink blending using the Peach Fuzz ink cube. I even pulled out the Slimline Skinny Plaid stencil and ink blended the Sunshine ink cube through it.
I matted my photo using some papers from the collection and popped it up on foam tape. I added my title right under my photo using the Puffy Alphas.
The Slow Days 12x12 paper had some cute tickets with the perfect phrases for my layout. I fussy cut a few out, distressed the edges and arranged them around my page. This also allowed me to set bases for my embellishment clusters since I built them around each ticket.
I added in a few of the Floral Ephemera pieces and Puffy Stickers. I really enjoy this part of the creative process.
I also added some Enamel Dots and a few Chipboard Flair stickers. I just love this map paper!!!
Here's one last look at this layout, I added in a few ink splatters by smooshing the Peach Fuzz and Sunshine inks onto my mat and spraying it with a bit of clean water.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope that I've inspired you in some way! I love fussy cutting and cutting up my patterned papers. It really stretches your stash and also gives you great layering pieces. See you next time friends!
