Felicity Cards + Layout

Felicity Cards + Layout

24 Feb 2016 0 Comments

I love the hand drawn whimsical flowers and elements in the Felicity collection. The patterns are perfect for making cards that are clean in design and sweet in sentiment.

The ruffle of crepe paper fringe gives this card a little pop of color and texture. A small cluster of die cuts and wood veneer in the center add to the whimsical background.

The wood veneer hearts repeat the shape in the center of card and are tucked into a strip of colorful patterned paper and a sentiment sticker. The background of the card is stamped simply with a pretty flower from the Felicity collection.

This layout was inspired by the hand drawn flowers of the patterned paper. I love how it's whimsical and graphic at the same time. I continued that look by repeating the flower elements and adding sharp linear triangles to the design.

The photo is surrounded by layers of patterned paper with a nice mix of flowers and triangles.

The triangle puffy stickers repeats the pattern that is on the background paper. A sprinkle of the sequin puffy stickers add some dimension to the flat background.

The Felicity collection is one of my favorites from all the latest CHA releases. The beautiful bright colors, clean design and pretty details make it pleasure to work with!
