I love stripes so this was a great challenge! Challenge also motivated me to complete two create & connect layouts.
Beautiful projects by everyone! Love that the challenge this month got me to use my Color Block Stripes die.
Such a fun challenge! I chose to focus on gradients with my card.
The papers are from Let’s Stay Home and the other elements are from the kits we received at the Create & Connect Scrapbooking held recently. I just mixed it all up! Also reused the technique taught to put a piece of vellum behind a frame and put enamel dots on top. So cute!
I really enjoy your Monthly Challenges. The inspiration photos and all of the DT’s beautiful creations are magnificent. I love how everyone has a different take on the mood board! I looked at stripes in a whole different way with my 1st layout, #23. Stripes can be wide, right?!? lol
I love these challenges, as they encourage me to use my supplies, make me feel like I am not crafting alone, and give me a starting point for what to create. I had just received a new batch of Pinkfresh studio supplies in the mail and was determined to use them in this challenge and incorporate a gradient. I found the colors of this challenge difficult for me to carry off, so while my first stencil attempt stuck to the challenge colors, my following attempts only used some of the colors and changed the hues on others.
Another great challenge- it was so much fun to take part!
I just love this challenge so much as I couldn’t stop using many different Pfs products on my layout: I went to town by playing with blue gradient papers from Life Right Now which went perfectly well with the blues in the photo. I used the diagonal stripes stencil and stitched vertical lines through it. I also incorporated my fave Indigo vine stamp and dieset in several ways: as a torn strip on the paper, on the photo itself and as a diagonal flower cascade in blue shades. I also used alpha stickers, the Believe in Yourself stampset and jewels in glacier to reflect my blue gradients page. So much fun!

Was fun to create the colors in watercolor stripes!
I have really enjoyed your Songbirds on Branches Glimmer Plate! I find that it foils beautifully. The stencils work great too and arranging the die cut pieces was fun. To keep my background from overpowering the birds, I chose to emboss with my handy Slim Stripes Die that added subtle interest to the backgound.
I had so much fun creating a stripy card for this challenge! I did traditional fall colours but I’m thinking I might have to create a second card with the challenge colours since they are lovely!
I just love these challenges – and this is no exception. I think I’ve made my all time favourite page after being inspired by this challenge. Thanks so much! Xx
