October 2022 Challenge
Welcome to the October challenge at Pinkfresh Studio! You all created such amazing projects for last month's challenge, and we can't wait to see what you create this month! This challenge is for ALL papercrafters - including scrapbooking, cardmaking, minis, journals, notebooks & more!
If you haven't checked it out yet, we featured our Top 3 Cards & Layouts, plus the prize winners from the September challenge on last week's post! Who knows...maybe it will be YOU this month! You never know unless you play along! :)
October is all about Fall Leaves!
This is the perfect time of year to incorporate fall leaves into your projects, and many of your supplies that feature leaves can be adapted to fall colors very easily! You can use dies, stencils, hot foil plates or patterned papers. You can also ink blend or watercolor for a more technique driven way to add these elements. There are so many fun ways to add fall leaves to your projects!
The following ink shades are the best matches for the colors in the challenge: Berrylicious, Evergreen, Marigold, Ocean Breeze, & Lavender.
As always you can use just the theme, just the colors, or use both for your projects! Here is some inspiration for you from our amazing team:
Josefine van der Hoeven
Debby van Diepen
Vicki Parker
Emily Midgett
Nathalie DeSousa
Erica A-B
Anett Gelencsér
Channin Pelletier
Karlla Dauer

Perfect color scheme to ease into holiday cardmaking!
Perfect color scheme to ease into holiday cardmaking!
So glad I made it this month <3 Love that your challenges keep coming!
I look forward to each month’s challenge. Thanks for having the option of a theme or a color combo. It makes it possible for everyone to enter. I went very simple with my card entry & loved the result.
I loved this challenge and was excited to try out my new stamp/stencil/die set I just got in the mail!
Another great challenge!
Super fun challenge. Thanks!
Love the challenge and the inspirations! Happy to be playing along this month :) went back to the Days of Splendor collection from a couple of years back, it never gets old!
Always love your challenge posts! Great inspiration – I’m glad to be playing along this month :-)
I love looking at all the awesome projects that Pinkfresh fans create! Thanks for all the inspiration.
Great challenge to use the beautiful leaves stencil.
Another great challenge! I’m always big on Christmas and just got the products from the last holiday release. I couldn’t wait so I made some festive leaves cards instead of fall leaves using the colors from the inspo image! Can’t wait to see more Christmas/holiday challenges in the coming months! 🙂
I love the autumn leaves and this unusual colours palette! Thank you for the inspiration 😊
Love scrapping fall! Pulled out the gorgeous new Good Times collection to play along!
I used the colors i had to be close to these and also the leaves stencil and die set and gazebo die. I didn’t think the colors would look good at all but was very surprised how much I liked the end result of my card.
During the Scrapbooking event, I made several of the bases of the folding cards for Moments that Matter mini album. However, since I didn’t have the ephemra at the time, I didn’t finish them. Once I got it, I decided not to make the mini album since I prefer to make 12 × 12 scrapbook layouts. I used those bases on the page as interactive photo holders. Each one unfolds or comes out of the tag except for the clear frame with enamel dots. I thought it was a fun way to use items that were already cut.
I used the theme Leaves for my card. Past Christmas and this years Christmas stamps were used.
For my 2nd card, I used the Berry Branch we received in the Create & Connect Holiday Cardmaking we just did this past weekend. The whole event was wonderful and it was fun to get in the holiday mood!
fun challenge. love anything leaves/fall!
I adore the Fall Foliage stencil and die, and Nathalie’s beautiful layout inspired me to pull out those products and have a play.
I used stencils, stamps and dies.
I wanted to get the feeling of leaves in the wind.
I am always amazed at the beautiful designs the DT creates. Thanks for another awesome challenge!
Thanks for the fun challenge theme!!!
I used Sweet Blooms foil plate in a fall color palette and made it a birthday card because everyone can always use those!
Wonderful challenge! Thanks soooo much!
