April 2022 Challenge
Welcome to the April challenge at Pinkfresh Studio! You all created such amazing projects for last month's challenge, and we can't wait to see what you create this month! This challenge is for ALL papercrafters - including scrapbooking, cardmaking, minis, journals, notebooks & more!
If you haven't checked it out yet, we featured our Top 3 Cards & Layouts, plus the prize winners from the March challenge on yesterday's post! Who knows...maybe it will be YOU this month! You never know unless you play along! :)
April is all about GEOMETRIC SHAPES!
Squares, circles, hexagons, stars, rectangles....the sky is the limit! We just released nested geometic hot foil plates with coordinating die sets, and it has left us SO inspired! But you can create these geometric shapes any way you can! Whether you use dies, an electronic diecutting machine, or pre-cut diecut ephemera...anything is game as long as you use an geometric element on your project!
The following ink shades are the best matches for the colors in the challenge: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Slumber, Fresh Pear and Soft Lilac.
As always you can use just the theme, just the colors, or use both for your projects! Here is some inspiration for you from our amazing team:
Vicki Parker
Celes Gonzalo
Raquel Arribas Santiuste
Nathalie DeSousa
Emily Midgett
Emilie Chamel
Channin Pelletier
Yasmin Diaz
Sophie Hamelin
Carissa Wiley
Karlla Dauer
Kelly Griglione

This is my first time doing this challenge. I, too, am so excited to participate. I haven’t found where to upload my finished project yet, but hopefully will find that soon. I am making a card with geometric circle designs using all five colors listed. Also, fussy cutting around die cuts to make my own ephemera using the same five colors. I’m fairly new to card making, so I hope entering these challenges will improve my card making skills. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this challenge.
I loved the geometric theme this month!
My heartfelt thanks to the team at Pinkfresh Studio for another fun challenge! I really enjoyed this one.
I entered a simple slimline Birthday card featuring floral motifs cut into circles. I have a subtly striped background for the card that was made using a Pinkfresh Studio stencil, and I used a stamp for the sentiment from Pinkfresh’s collaboration with the Stamping Village. LOVE these supplies and am happy I had another opportunity to get them out and use them!
I just took a look at the other entries in the challenge, and I found them all to be lovely and inspiring. Good luck to everybody who entered, but honestly, I think we are all winners, because we all ended up with awesome projects as a result of this challenge!
I have been away from scrapbooking for 6 months now, but I’m back and my 1st page was done to enter this challenge, I do have a question, I only use the colours used on the mood board, but I noticed other colours being added also in other peoples creations, am I just being over fussy?
This is my first time doing a challenge. I’m so excited to participate. I used a variety of circle stickers and chipboard pieces on my traveler’s notebook layout.

Another fun challenge. I used Geo Blocks hot foil plate and stencil with Pinkfresh Inks to make 2 simple masculine cards. I have made a few more cards I might enter too!
Thanks for the fun challenge! I got to use a lot of hot foiling plates, along with dies and the ink colors suggested in the challenge. I think the Songbirds on Branches will be a favorite of mine for sure.
Love the raised hexagons. Can’t wait to try them with the foiling. This time I used foil card.
I had so much fun playing along with this challenge! I would love to see a monochromatic challenge in the future!
Love that you always give us the option of a theme &/or a color combo. This time I used some of my oldest PFS goodies & had fun making something a little different than my usual.
It was so fun to submit my first entry for a Pinkfresh challenge!
Great challenge, I was mostly inspired by the florals and colours but also used a few squares as my geometric shape!
Great challenge! I love the inspiration! Now I need to get my hands on those geo frames!
Thanks for the challenge! I tried using the geoblocks hot foil plate to make an impression. Worked great!
I thought the diamond stencil would go well with the nested diamonds hot foil and I just had to use the brighter days because these flowers are so beautiful.
I had so much fun creating my layout for this challenge! I went with some messy circles and some rectangles for my layout. I also, admittedly, used the poinsettia stencils and dies for a spring-feel, but I changed up the colors to make them work for the layout and I LOVE how it turned out!
Thanks for a fun challenge!! I am entry #27.
Ohhh I love this challenge and have a few to enter especially since there has been some new foil plates available to use!! THANKS! 😊
Great challenge! Really got me thinking and I love the layout I ended up with. X
Great challenge!!! Love all of the inspiration from the team! So inspiring.
Super excited to play along! I used the daisy wreath as my focal image and colors from the pallet. Thanks for the fun challenge!
Great challenge. So fun to play with the geometric theme.
Thanks for another fun challenge! I love unique themes rather than holiday-themed challenges which so many others host. I used the Anemone Magic washi tape and die on my piano card – I’ve become a washi tape and die bundle addict, lol! Keep ’em coming! ;)
I had fun creating with Hexagons, chipboard stickers and epoxy embellishments … and making my 31st Christmas card for 2022.
So many possibilities! I would love to see more non traditional uses for products I already have challenges.
