WCMD Challenge #7 - Rainbow with Maria
Happy World Cardmaking Day! We've got a fun day planned, with challenges every 2 hours from our amazing cardmaking team and tons of inspiration!
Challenge #7: Rainbow with Maria
For this card I tried out a new for me technique with my Pinkfresh Ink Cubes. I pulled the cubes in rainbow order over white cardstock. The result looks like brushstrokes and reminds me of abstract art. It was such a fun to create this. On the pics you can see some of my tests, before I started with the card.
Then I diecutted the panel with the Slim Stitched Rectangle Die Set and mounted it with foam tape on the Cardbase. For the Sentiment I used the Lea's Ornate Uppercase and Lowercase Die Sets. I diecutted every letter five times from white cardstock, glued them together and added the resulting word 'Thanks' on the cardfront.
